What type of degree is best for the military to become a Officer.?
I wish to pursue a career in aviation I’m 19 and have been in college for 1 year now, just getting my general education done. I want to be a pilot for Southwest Airlines eventually but don’t want to work for any regional Airlines to build my hours, I’ve heard too many horror stories and they barely get by with all the loans they took to get to that point with the pay they get. Sorry i got offtrack I want to be a pilot for the USMC or Navy, Which type of degree should i get in school so i can be a officer in 1 of the 2. Also Please don’t tell me to join ROTC at my college because frankly i can’t I’m not a US citizen yet, and that’s one of the requirements. I’ll get my citizenship right after i graduate college basically.

Aeronautics or engineering seems like the best. You will need a LOT of math.
